Job Description

***Remote Opportunity***

Job Summary:
Analyzes activities related to claims data, EMR data, HRA data, and other health care data sources. Develops the architecture to integrate analytics directly into the care model while monitoring and modifying system process flow to optimize patient care. Leads projects of basic to moderate complexity and assists with other initiatives as part of the project team.
Education - Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree Health Informatics, Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, Health Care Administration, or related field.


Experience - Required:
  • 3 years Analytics and Informatics Services. or
  • 3 years Claims data, EMR data, HRA data, clinical terminology, clinical guidelines, clinical outcomes, and healthcare utilization measures.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
  • Knowledge of reporting packages and databases (SQL/TSQL and SQL Server Management Studios) and clinical analytics and metrics.
  • Knowledge of clinical models and grouping of claims at the event level.
  • Basic analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence solutions (data warehouses, data marts, dashboards, and scorecards) using Microsoft, Tableau, or other prominent BI technology tools.
  • Analytical skills.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Preferred:
  • Ability to present findings and communicate with cross functional teams.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (ex: Python, VB or Powershell).
  • Ability to analyze and solve data management problems


Licensure - Preferred:
  • Certified Tableau Specialist Upon Hire

Location: Lehigh Valley Health Network · Health Care Analytics
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours, Day Shift, M-F; 8:00a-4:30p
