Are you Data Scientist who is looking to create great customer experiences while improving healthcare outcomes through data? If so, we’d like to introduce you to a nationally recognized brand who would like to meet with you.
We are engaged in a national search for a Healthcare Data Scientist. In this role, the individual will:
- Design and implement data collection systems and other methods ensuring data integrity and statistical accuracy.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses to research, manipulate, and interpret complex data and analyze results using predictive modeling, advanced statistics, trend analysis, and other techniques to develop reports and deploy solutions.
- Mine and interpret results providing consultative feedback to various areas in order to improve service delivery and enhance program design efforts.
- Develop complex algorithms and statistical predictive models in a SAS environment and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes.
- Extract and identify relevant information from databases and systems.
- Design and model data extractions and provide comprehensive assessments of trends and data.
- Manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration, model building, performance evaluation and testing.
- Write advanced SQL queries to collect and analyze internal and EDR data (external enterprise data) that leads to the research, manipulation, interpretation, advanced statistics, trend analysis in order to draw business inferences and clearly articulate findings for target audiences.
- Perform complex analysis to solve multiple business problems; translate business problems into data science questions and develop solutions.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field. (Preference to Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field).
- Statistical modeling and data mining concepts, and a track record of solving problems utilizing these methods
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets
- A combination of SQL, R, Python, SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence software (preferred) and data visualization tools that include PowerBI (preferred), Tableau or other similar tools.
- A background in healthcare, healthcare insurance, claims, provider data or analytics highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud environments that might include: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure. (Preferred)
Work Environment
This role is 100% remote for individuals based in the U.S. Individuals must live in one of the following U.S. States: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Virginia.
This is a Full Time Direct Employee role. We aren’t considering consultants and are unable to sponsor visa’s for this opportunity.
