Head Teller (Maite Branch) - Starting At $18/Hr!

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused and engaging Head Teller to join our Maite branch in Guam. In this role, you will be responsible for providing stellar customer service while processing customer transactions and supports bank goals by promoting and referring bank products and services. The Head Teller also assists in the supervision of Branch Tellers and Branch operations.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

Pay starts at $18.00/hr and up, depending on experience.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:00PM (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
• 1 year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller; or
• 2 years’ experience as an FHB Teller and cross-trained to perform supervisor duties; or
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator.
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• 1 year experience as a Teller (or equivalent) in another financial institution with two years’ supervisory and cashiering experience required.
• Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking) preferred.
