Job Description

Head of Portfolio/Asset Management | Vertically-integrated owner/operator | Multifamily


We are working with a vertically-integrated owner/operator of Class A multifamily and student housing that is looking for a Head of Portfolio/Asset Management to help lead the Investment Management group through what will be a period of significant growth.


Our client is expanding its pool of institutional investors, with plans to launch new fund vehicles that will lead to increased deal volume in both acquisitions and development. This role will lead portfolio management, asset management, and organizational development, and act as a key integrator for these critical business functions.


The ideal candidate will be coming from a growth-oriented CRE investor, and have deep experience working within a fund structure, and collaborating closely with executive leadership on strategic planning and operational integration.


Experience:

  • 15-20 years of experience in CRE development, acquisitions, capital markets, asset management, and portfolio management (multifamily)
  • Experience scaling multifamily platforms within a fund structure.
  • Sophistication in analysis and execution, stemming from work experience at leading CRE firms.
  • Superior acuity in the areas of strategic planning, operational excellence, financial analysis, KPI and metrics development, process improvement, change leadership, and management accountability.
  • Experience in strategic executive leadership roles, with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
