Job Description


As a Corporate Portfolio Management Senior Director, you will operate as a trusted strategic partner to business group leaders and their teams, and proactively and effectively influence portfolio strategy, portfolio investment decisions and critical execution needs. You will be responsible for ensuring a market- and customer-backed perspective, robust financial assessment, and cross-functional alignment to fully unleash transformational and innovative growth opportunities for Intel. We are looking for a strategic thinker to develop in-depth market understanding and portfolio business cases, and effectively partner with senior business group leaders.


Your Responsibilities Will Include


  • Serve as a role model and mentor teams to coach and groom talent
  • Lead portfolio management team to conduct strategic analyses on key market, customer, competitive, product and technology trends, and articulate required portfolio actions and investment to meet growth objectives.
  • Lead and conduct analyses on commercial and financial assessments, business cases, ROI etc to provide detailed guidance and scenarios into key portfolio decisions.
  • Work with business group leaders and their staff to establish overall portfolio strategy and vision that accelerate Intel's growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders internally and externally to stay up to date with competitive and technology landscape
  • Bring thought leadership to key stakeholders, and collaborate broadly
  • Prepare and communicate opportunities effectively to executive management and the board
  • Lead broad, multi-functional senior teams to effectively gather subject matter expert input, align leadership team and drive to actions


In addition, the ideal candidate must also have the following skills:


  • Demonstrated ability to excel in an innovative, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute
  • Deep understanding of software and semiconductor technology markets, trends, and dynamics
  • Exceptionally strong personal initiative, good business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous high-priority projects and stakeholders (often including project management of cross-functional teams)


Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business unit strategy, finance, management consulting, investment banking, and / or equivalent experience (e.g., scaling a business)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, technology, business or related
  • 12+ years of professional business experience including:
  • 7+ years of people management and or large-scale project management experience
  • Knowledge of semiconductors, software or technology landscape and ecosystem
  • Experience participating in and familiarity with strategy development, portfolio strategy and portfolio financial assessments
  • Experience creating oral and written communications to senior executives


Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
  • Experience with wide variety of portfolio types, e.g., growth, transformations, incubations
  • Strong network, experiences, and knowledge within both the semiconductor and technology ecosystem
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and cross-group collaboration skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $188,530.00-$329,690.00


  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
