Job Description

Head of HR – Members Club

New York

$100,000 – $150,000



My client, an exceptional private members club based in New York, is seeking a Head of HR to join their esteemed senior leadership team. As the club continuous to expand, they are now looking for an outstanding Head of Human Resources to oversee their entire US function.


As Head of HR, you will be responsible for

  • Oversee the recruiting and onboarding including orientation for all new hires across the US
  • Collaborating with the CEO and other Senior Management team members to provide compliance reports and support
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the US and federal legislation and regulations to monitor and ensure compliance
  • Managing most HR functions including worker’s compensation, benefits, HRIS audits and documentation
  • Promoting the company’s brand and culture in the best possible light both within and outside of the organisation
  • Responsible for overseeing all disciplinary issues

Key Requirements for this role

  • Experience with New York labour laws
  • 5 years of HR experience is desired
  • Advanced on Microsoft Office and HR Software Systems
  • SHRM certification a huge plus
  • Strong knowledge of all HR procedures including; compliance, recruitment, training and development etc
  • Experience working within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
