Head Of Financial Planning

We are hiring a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for a high-growth Series B SaaS company that has over $100M in funding. The Head Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for the development and execution of the financial analysis function. The role ensures the preparation of financial plans and forecasts, monthly projections, analyzes financial and operational results, and investigate significant variances.

The Head of FP&A will be in charge of building out the finance team, immediately hiring 2-3 people. The finance team will be expected to build out financial models to support existing forecasting, internal and external financial reports, potential merger and acquisition activity, capital expenditure evaluation and other related projects. The role assists in due diligence process for potential mergers and acquisitions, including identification, valuation and integration activities. The role will also assist in the preparation of executive, board level and research analyst presentations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform financial benchmarking, including executive reporting of key performance indicators.
• Build out a solid finance team.
• Assist in the due diligence process for the identification, valuation, and integration of potential acquisitions.
• Develop and maintain models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts; support strategic initiatives and help review critical financial decisions.
• Prepare clear, metric-based, financial plans/forecasts including monthly projections, annual budgets, long range plans, and related updates.
• Prepare financial modeling for acquisition or merger opportunities, new business development, cost saving projects, capital expenditure evaluation, competitive analyses, and customer and product profitability.
• Build and manage the financial analysis function including coordination and integration with business financial liaisons.

Education & Experience Required:

• Fluency in Mandarin
• 5+ years of relevant financial analysis and reporting experience
• Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration
• Strong organization, analytical and communication skills.
