We are seeking a talented, passionate VP of Global FP&A to join our team. By tapping into your strategic business mindset, you understand the critical interdependencies across business functions and analyze both long-term and short-term consequences of decisions while also understanding the drivers of growth, profitability, and cash flow. You have both big company experience within manufacturing, but also the desire to grow with a dynamic start-up company.
Job Overview
As the VP of Global Financial Planning & Analysis at Ohmium International Inc., you will develop the strategic financial planning for the Company’s global operations. You have a deep, comprehensive understanding of manufacturing environment including the metrics around working capital, supply chain and the like. You take a great deal of pride in delivering results as well as leading through influence across a diverse range of stakeholders and team members. Each day will offer new and exciting challenges including but not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the 13-week liquidity analysis and present it to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer on a weekly basis.
- Continuously develop policies, procedures, processes, and practices, automating where possible, to ensure a streamlined and efficient budgeting and forecasting system.
- Review historical data, predict future results, analyze, and effectively explain budget variances.
- Partner with business team leaders to develop key performance indicators, and metrics for each division and track return-on-investment on spend.
- Provide ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
- Build a strong team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Prepare and analyze actual financial results to historical performance and report to senior leadership; prepare written and oral presentations for the board of directors, investors, and others as required.
- Lead the company's annual financial planning process to include budgeting and forecasting for all global operations.
- Review analysis results, provide input into investment, cost reduction, and strategic business decision-making.
- Perform quantitative analysis required for strategic planning, special projects, and reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate, prepare, and analyze quarterly forecasts and prepare reports for executive and senior leadership related to changes to forecasts.
Location, Travel & Work Environment
- Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, or be willing to relocate to the Bay within a few months of hire. This role is a hybrid position requiring you to be in our Fremont, CA office 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 20% of the time.
- Remote work (home) location which provides a work environment that (a) allows for confidential or sensitive discussions; (b) is quiet and distraction-free; (c) has consistent high-quality internet and phone access (d) ensures availability during business hours in California, nights and weekends as maybe required and (e) safe from hazards.

Required Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Pay Transparency: Our compensation package includes base, bonus (annual) and equity. Salary and bonus will depend on experience and level but should be in the range of $200-225k base salary plus bonus and equity.
- Must have significant manufacturing experience including strong background in optimizations, like metrics around working capital and supply chain.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- At least eight (8) years’ experience in financial planning and analysis in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Willingness and ability to hands-on work within FP&A.
- Proven experience using the FP&A frameworks and metrics to drive capital allocation decisions.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and oral.
- Possess excitement about being in a fast-growing start-up environment with the ability to translate big company experience.
