The Opportunity


This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels.


As an FP&A Supervisor, you will be responsible for ADC Global Third-Party Manufacturing (TPM) financial consolidation, analytics, and project management across 9 TPM sites in North America, Europe, and APAC regions. This is a key strategic role that will work closely with various levels of leadership and business partners to drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and deliver key insights for global TPM business to the broader management team. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, California.


What You'll Do


  • Coordinate with Global TPM site Finance teams to consolidate P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital / Project Expense for month end, LBE, and OEM cycles.
  • Enhance and create analytics to drive Gross Margin Improvement (GMI) cost savings and process efficiency across global TPM businesses.
  • Drive financial insights and effectively communicate / present key risks and opportunities to senior leadership on an ongoing basis.
  • This role will start as an individual contributor but is expected to take on one financial analyst as time progresses in order to gain additional TPM capital / project expense oversight.
  • Work with Global Procurement and Supply Chain to effectively manage / assess impact from site buffer inventory and key component procurement strategies to support health of ADC Operations cash flow.


Required


Experience You'll Bring


  • Minimum 5 years of Financial experience demonstrating a progressive level of responsibility.
  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in finance or accounting), or an equivalent combination of education and work experience


Preferred


  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Masters Degree or CPA desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
