Hey there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Alex Cooke. I am the CEO of Phase 3 and I'm glad to be able to share with you what I and the Phase 3 team are looking for in our Head of Executive Search Hire.


Who Are We?

Phase 3 is a boutique, customer focused search and leadership development firm that has created client champions through our highly consultative search approach and the results that it has provided. We have taken pride in working with C-Suites and talent leaders to solve business problems, share our hard-won knowledge, and invest our time to build deep relationships that allow us to deliver the right leader, at the right time, with the right fit for each client’s culture.


How Did We Arrive Here?:

As the founder of Phase 3 in 2018 I believe that when I or the team place a rock star leader, that we help shorten the timeline that it takes a new medicine to reach a patient. Even today, this holds true for me. I also believe that as search leaders we have unparalleled access to incredible amounts of industry knowledge that when utilized correctly means that we can help create/curate whole teams of leaders, and that these teams can drive the advances that will change medicine for the next 30-50 years.


This might feel like me just “selling” but can you really tell me that directly engaging with the C-suite of an emerging medical innovation power house, actively helping to solve their business problems, whilst also influencing their culture, and in turn helping to create a company full of fantastic leaders, doesn’t sound more fun than transactional, short term focused, close the deal, dollar driven recruitment / search?


The Day To Day:

Even though Phase 3 is mission led, there’s no denying that executive search still needs focus, energy, dedication, and work. Every search is a journey that twists and turns and you have to be at your best to absolutely nail it. Easy? No. Impactful? Hell yes. Easier with a great team? Definitely. Can you use automation technology to make it more efficient? You bet you can! And I can promise you that we have all of those things.

The Ask:

I’m looking for a search leader that takes over Executive Search and Delivery Management from me so that I can take on the role of Rainmaker.


You’re going to need buckets of drive, be willing to learn, be ready to partner and lead a great team and ultimately become one of the leadership faces of Phase 3 and the biotech search industry.

Requirements:


· Life Science Search Expertise: 7 years+ supporting the Biotech/Pharma Therapeutics or CDMO space: R&D, CMC, QA, Clinical, the discipline doesn't matter but your enthusiasm and love for your space will be vital.


· Business Development: Actively build relationships with senior client stakeholders (VP - C) and position Phase 3 to help our clients deliver pivitol drug development milestones


· Add To Culture: Engage and foster our internal culture of high integrity, high performance, fun, and teamwork.


· Manage Clients and Create Industry Champions: Deliver a search experience that actively goes the extra mile to share data, industry knowledge and foster trust with VP – C-Level candidates and TA stakeholders.


· Team Development: Be a true search leader. Raise the standard of excellence for the Phase 3 Executive Search team. Develop, manage, and expand the Phase 3 search offering ensuring maximum performance of the 360 & Candidate Development


· Cross Functional Support: Cross sell each Phase 3 service line actively partnering with the Head of People Strategy (Coaching), Head of Contract Placement, and CEO to maximize revenue and drive value to current and future Phase 3 clients.
