Utility scale solar power plant construction is required for this role, as is experience in self perform construction.

We have partnered exclusively with a disruptive solar automation company backed by Bill Gates, now at the tipping point to scale aggressively. They seek a pioneering Head of EPC to build out processes, team and drive projects as they take on multiple GW of construction. This is an equity position.

In 2019 well respected solar industry veterans from Sunpower spun off a company to radically change how large-scale utility power plants are built-- reshaping via automation solar plant construction to reduce build times 10x and solar energy costs to $0.01 kWh solar. Beta testing is complete, the customer base numbers over 400 companies, and they now seek a Head of Construction to build and lead the construction team as they scale.

This role is integral to the success of this sea change in solar power plant construction. You are a solar construction leader with a passion for innovation AND efficiency. You are passionate about disruptive innovation, and can adapt project processes to new versions of the technology as it’s rolled out. You will serve as the voice of the customer with R&D, helping to guide and implement practical innovation of the automation product. All EPC functions also roll up to this position as the company scales (projected in low 50MWs of construction in 2023, 500MW of construction in 2024 and geometric explosion after that).
