About The Quincy:
Join us on our journey to open a new fine dining restaurant in the heart of Chehalis. We are located in the historic Hotel Washington building downtown, featuring an intimate front of house fine dining experience, with a separate lively bar named Middle Duck. There will be two menus strategically designed to fit the feel of both dining spaces. Yes, you read that correctly, two menus, one kitchen.

Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation
- Opportunity to create and develop menu items that are innovative and appealing to customers
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and dishwashers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef (3+ Years) or recent Culinary School Graduate
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bonus if you can create and develop new dishes
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Compensation will be based on experience, background and education, and will be evaluated six months following hire date. Show us what you got!
*After one year, the team member filling this role will be required to get their Washington Food Manager Certification, paid for by The Quincy.
