Job Description
Lead all beer production at Outer Range Frisco in accordance with the direction and guidance of company leadership. The Head Brewer will be responsible for maintaining operation standards to ensure consistent production and quality. Overall responsible for the quality of beer production at Outer Range. This position will require close collaboration with team members, self-direction, and the direction of other team members.

Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Brew entire team to produce beer at required volumes and standards
  • Lead the team to predict and solve issues
  • Manage information accurately through EKOS brewery management software system
  • Lead brewing and packaging of beer, manage schedule and enforce quality standards
  • Perform/maintain weekly raw materials inventories
  • Handling of Raw material and Wort production
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Prepping fermenters and brite tanks for use
  • Performing other related duties as required, including driving forklift
  • Ensure proper and timely ordering and inventory of raw materials
  • Maintain accurate written and electronic records
  • Uphold beer quality standards

Working Conditions

  • Ability to repeatedly lift 55 pounds at a time and team lift 170 pounds
  • Capable of safe and competent work on and around potentially hazardous machinery, equipment, chemicals and systems.
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time and to perform physically demanding work.

Salary
