The Headlines :
In the role of a Technical Brewer working in Fort Worth, TX You will Manages the overall technical brewing processes for integrity and capability. Ensures high quality products are produced cost effectively through maximizing operational efficiencies while leveraging the WCSC Pillars to continuously improve performance. Ensures GoverIT adherence. Is responsible for product taste profile for brewery under the Molson Coors Taste System (MCTS). Supports productivity, waste reduction - (Total Extract Loss and Work In Process), process optimization and technical development of brewing personnel. Is the communications liaison between Brewing Manager, Quality Manager and corporate brewing, quality and Technical and Packaging Services. Drives technology and processes advances. Supports equipment upgrades and replacement. Support NPP process for product development. Facilitates local knowledge transfer. Responsible for the safety and quality of our products by providing governance guidance of all the procedures and standards regulations, policies, programs and related Molson Coors guidelines.
This position reports to Sr. Manager Operations-Brewing.

The Responsibilities:
  • Ensures team understand and adhere to brewing standards
  • Continuously seek methods to sustain budget targets and innovates cost reduction strategies (EOQ and MRP)
  • Compares current performance gap versus goals and benchmark metrics
  • Member of the sensory taste panel (if capable), aging roundtable and encourages team member involvement
  • Manages brewing process governance ensures the highest quality standards
  • Verifies that problems have been addressed and eliminated using techniques like IPS and UPS
  • Support team performance and creates a culture of employee engagement
  • Oversees process improvements
  • Supports application of continuous improvement tools and techniques to address gaps and exceed goals.
  • Coordinates continuous improvement process for WCSC metrics.
  • Champions waste reduction efforts TEL, Water, and Energy
  • Provides input and development to both operating and capital budgets.
  • Actively supports and promotes applications of RTT principles and work practices
  • Leads problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Leads and collaborates on brewing process continuous improvement
  • Drives performance management practices
  • Delivers cost and productivity
  • Supports asset care of brewing operation and equipment
The Other Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science Brewing Technology OR equivalent experience (5+ years) in the field of Brewing.
  • Have knowledge of accepted brewing practices
  • You have at least 5 years experience in in the brewing industry
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments
  • Must be able to analyze production reports and quality data to recognize adverse trends and be familiar with quality education requirements.
  • Must have a working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EEO practices/Policies, HACCP,DOT regulations. Kosher Certification, brewery safety regulations, FDA guidelines for food plant operations, and environmental regulations regarding manufacturing brewery operations and a good understanding of corporate support and resources.
