Guest Experience Manager- Tenaya Stone Spa

As a Spa Guest Service Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operation of Tenaya Stone Spa at The Grand Californian Hotel with the goal of providing an exceptional guest experience. You will provide leadership in all spa locations including front of house operations, reservations, front desk, back of house operations, and spa services. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional guest and Cast Member service by accomplishing the following.

• Actively promoting spa treatments, services, sessions and retail outlets, as well as programs and special promotions.
• Occasionally maintaining schedules for all cast members working in the spa.
• Overseeing all guest and cast member experiences in the spa.
• Possess complete knowledge of all spa services and products while educating and training guests and cast members.
• Providing accurate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Handling guest and Cast Member questions and concerns.
• Regularly attending/participating in leadership development training and ongoing spa training to remain up to date on current practices.

You Have:

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Influencing skills and previous experience handling difficult/sensitive situations with minimal/no supervision.
• Enjoy working with people and possess an outgoing personality and ability to provide excellent guest service skills.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of leadership experience in a spa/hotel environment.
• Lead a diverse team utilizing various motivational and developmental tactics.
• Utilize service recovery methods.
• Proactive in anticipating guest and Cast Member needs.

The hiring range for this position is $64,480.00 to $77,550 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
