Summary
Responsible for ensuring that all accounting activities in the Cage are performed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, Federal and State Tax agencies, and established company policies, procedures and controls.

Directly supervises the activities of Employees in the Cage.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Qualification Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area from a college or university; or four plus years related cash operations experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Special Qualifications
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret related financial reports and documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The Employee is regularly exposed to risk of radiation (from computers), as a great deal of the workday is spent working on spreadsheets or inputting data into the computer system.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

- Accountable, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
- Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction for patrons and employees. Facilitates the flow of information, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all Employees under his/her span of control.
- Implements departmental procedures which enable the Cage to function more effectively.
- Maintains system of checks and balances.
- Monitors all financial activities, which relate to the Cage, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Federal and State agencies, and the Gaming Commission are followed.
- Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by Employees under his/her span of control.
- Reviews departmental reports, to ensure accuracy, making revisions as needed.
- Assists Cage Employees in understanding the complexities of responsibilities of the department.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels in the Cage, assisting with interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluation, promoting, disciplining and terminating Employees, as needed.
- Follows established standards and goals, and regularly evaluates cage activities.
