Job Description
Are you a Graphic Designer with beauty and packaging experience, and a strong background in Photoshop? Our client is seeking a talented Graphic Designer for retouching product images, developing and executing design concepts, and ensuring that packaging designs are visually appealing, accurate, and meet client specifications. Cincinnati-based talent preferred, but open to remote for the right candidate.
Portfolio Note: Candidates must have strong a strong background in Photoshop, and provide recent packaging design work in order to be considered for this role.
You Will:
  • Create mock-ups and prototypes of packaging designs
  • Collaborate with creative team members to develop and execute design concepts for packaging
  • Prepare files for print and ensure that they meet printing specifications
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and software
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the design process
  • Edit and manipulate digital assets in Photoshop to create packaging designs that are visually appealing and accurately reflect the product
  • Retouch product images to meet client specifications, including color correction, resizing, and compositing
You Have:
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and layout design
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with print production processes and requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on Photoshop retouching for packaging
Logistics:
  • Salary/Rate: $45-$50/Hour
  • Team Structure: Reporting to the Creative Director
  • Hours/Week: 5-10 hours/week
  • Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP and Ongoing
