Graphic Designer (Hybrid) Jobs

Location: Toledo, Ohio
Job Type: W2, long-term contract
Compensation Range: $37.50 - 45.00 per hour
Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their in-house creative studio. In this role, you will be responsible for graphic design and direction, seeing all projects from concept, design, production, completion and delivery.
You will partner with the Creative Lead, Social Lead, and other relevant business units to develop creative solutions across omni-channel touch points; utilizing brand knowledge, competitive analysis, and industry insights to create via a customer-first lens. You are an ideal candidate if you have an agency background and like to roll up your sleeves and produce design work while also having a seat at the table to conceptualize, ideate, and strategize creative campaigns.
Responsibilities:

• Present and provide business rationale for creative ideas to our internal stakeholders for approval and development.
• Adhere to brand identity standards and guidelines, while helping to inform the evolution and extension of the visual identity.
• Process and produce multiple projects in a short time frame- resizing art/layout according to specs.
• Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the Creative Lead and LOB's and Copywriters.
• Develop compelling creative solutions across omni-channel touch points including direct response materials, email, banner ads, social, landing pages, print collateral.
• Evolve, revise or redevelop advertisements or campaigns in response to feedback from the Creative Lead, or internal stakeholders.
• Assist the team with day-to-day production requests, including image selection and reformatting creative for various channels when needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to successfully meet deadlines and collaborate across multiple stakeholders with different priorities.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of design fundamentals, & messaging hierarchy.
• Self-motivation, flexibility, stamina and the ability to adapt.
• Banners
• Market awareness with the ability to understand the target audiences.
• Skills:
• Photoshop
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to inspire and sell creative rationale to senior management, and cross functional teams.
• Graphic Design
• Education: Bachelors (required)
• Portfolio showing a range of experience, concepts, and visual styles.
• Experience developing rich media and other forms of online advertising.
• Ability to develop/present/pitch creative ideas.
• Advertisement
• Stay current on industry trends, particularly in the digital and social space; share ideas and recommendations for innovating new templates and design approaches.
• Minimum of 5 years of relative Design experience, preferably in a design firm, advertising agency, or in-house creative department.
• Ability to work on multiple campaigns for various internal products at once, often in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in partnership with stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Illustrator
• Animation & Video production experience is a plus.
• Web Design
• Resilience with ability to accept criticism of your work.
• Designer
• Experience level: Experienced
