We are seeking a Designer to join our diverse Tribe of creatives, brand strategists, technologists, problem-solvers, colorists, listeners, coaches, farmers, and musicians.

While this is a hybrid/remote role, you must live locally to Cleveland, Ohio.

As a Visual Designer at Digital Yalo, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs across various media to bring our client's brand to life. You will work collaboratively with our team and clients, bringing your creative and design skills to create and execute innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Stay up-to-date with design trends and tools, and bring new ideas to the team
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines for clients to ensure consistency across all media
• Conceptualize and create visually engaging designs for various media, including print, digital, social, and video
• Wear short sleeves or be prepared to roll up your long ones, to contribute to this fast-paced agency with a wide range of clients
• Present ideas and designs to clients and the team, and incorporate feedback into final designs
• Contribute to team success by leading and creating a wide range of client and internal deliverables that may include: brand identity, campaigns (with a BIG idea), brand collateral, experiential elements (trade show booths, retail signage, etc.), direct mail, multi-page publications, and packaging
• Contribute to operational protocol improvements to ensure creative considerations are taken into account
• Engage with the Executive, BD, and Creative teams to ideate concepts; execute and deliver stellar creative to knock the socks off potential clients
• Collaborate with and support our amazing team of senior Yalo creative directors, designers, content creators, copywriters, and videographers, as well as our trusted network of creative contractors to devise conceptual creative solutions that drive measurable success for clients
• Be able to work within a budget and project timelines. Consistently deliver on time
• Manage multiple projects and deliver designs on time and on budget

Requirements

• Must have at least 3+ years of experience in visual design, in a marketing or advertising agency envrionment
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• A strong portfolio showcasing skills in various media
• A passion for design and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
• Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently
