Assistant Graphic Designer Jobs

We are looking for an Assistant Graphic Designer for a top retail company in Columbus, Ohio. This position is hybrid and located in the Columbus office.

Responsibilities:

• Translate and edit marketing with their local language
• Design one-off marketing for pop-ups, external events, or anything outside a normal BBW store or fixture. (sent back for approval)
• Resize all iterations of marketing to fit all aspects TR stores, gondolas, beauty counters.
• Create and design graphics, layouts and computer-based artwork for assigned collateral (point-of-sale, promotional and launch materials, hang tags, direct mail, packaging, and labeling).
• Update promos as needed and any promo refresh
• Pull all marketing from designated folders from file shares for each project.
• Reports to Senior Graphic Designer with dotted line reporting to Graphic Designer and Travel Retail Partner
• Participates in creation of new marketing ideas and stays abreast of current trends.
• Follows set designs and formulas in the production of graphics and layouts.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong typography skills
• Proficient in Adobe CC Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Bachelor's degree in Art/Design or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in development of marketing collateral.
• 2 to 5 years of graphic design experience
• Bi-lingual (Spanish)
• Pre-press knowledge a plus
