How you'll play:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating compelling, strategic visuals to communicate Hanna's big ideas, brand stories, and marketing strategies. They work with our copywriters, senior designers, and creative director, and photography, typography, and our library of fantastic Hanna prints to design emails, ads, site assets, social media posts, and occasional print material. The ideal candidate is an inventive team member who takes
initiative, stays flexible, and can conceptualize and execute on big ideas.
- Be involved in all phases of the creative process – from concept to handoff
- Develop a deep understanding of the Hanna brand, the product, and the big ideas behind our marketing campaigns
- Design press-ready creative for marketing and packaging
- Partner with our copywriters & marketing teammates to deliver on-brand, on-brief work
- Create strong, emotive compositions using photography, type, and print illustrations
- Prep your work in presentation-ready layouts for leadership approval
- Work closely with the Senior Designer and Creative Director to create digital content for ads, emails, the Hanna website, and our social media channels
- Ask questions, stay curious, and take the initiative

This position has an annual base salary range of $60,000 - $70,000.This listed base salary range is a good faith representation of the base salary range for this position. However, location, unique skills and/or exceptional experience may result in an offer outside of the stated range.
Requirements:- Layout and visual storytelling skills (Email, social media, and paid social ad examples in your portfolio are a plus)
- A hunger to grow – you welcome creative feedback as a powerful tool to learn and evolve
- A team-first, collaborative attitude
- 2+ years of in-house or agency experience in a graphic design role
- Ability to critically read and execute on written briefs
- Experience developing social content, preferred.
- UX experience for mobile and responsive design ideal, but not required.
- A passionate creative who's never satisfied until your work is dialed
- Motion design and animation skills, a plus
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your grasp of design theory, marketing, and brand identity
- Strong time-management skills and an eagle-eye attention to detail
- Expert-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the Adobe CC suite
- Experience building GIFs for social media and marketing
