Global Talent Acquisition Strategy Manager

Location – US (preferred) or UK

You’ll be part of a lean, highly experienced, passionate Global Talent Management & Employee Experience Team, and will be responsible for developing our diverse talent acquisition strategy for AXA XL. You will play a lead role in co-ordinating the efforts of the wide the talent acquisition teams to hire the best talent from areas outside insurance and financial services. This position provides the opportunity to make a positive global impact within the organization and will play a key role in helping us acquire the right talent with the critical skills and capabilities we need for the future.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Build relationships with the relevant SMEs across AXA XL and AXA Group to develop a thorough understanding of the business needs to enable us to acquire the best talent for AXA XL
  • Management of critical vacancies in our multi-jurisdictional teams ensure a consistent and robust candidate experience that enable us to hire talent with the critical skills, knowledge and capabilities for the future particularly in our growth areas
  • Lead the talent acquisition strategy for early careers, multi-generational and other appropriate diverse talent pools for AXA XL
  • You will provide talent acquisition expertise on critical business initiatives, offering advice and consultancy on the best way to attract and acquire talent
  • Collaborate with the wider Talent Management Teams to ensure we curate a best-in-class employee experience
  • Project manage key talent acquisition initiatives as and when required
  • Working with the talent management and employee experience teams you will build world class hiring experience that will make AXA XL an employer of choice to enable us to attract, retain and develop talent.
  • Co-ordinate the efforts of the wide the talent acquisition teams to ensure consistency in the way in which we hire the best talent from talent pools outside insurance and financial services
  • You own the end-to-end diverse talent pool candidate experience for your roles ensuring that we are continuously improving how we attract talent and onboard colleagues into AXA XL
  • Act as change agent to enable to the business units to transform the hiring experience

SHARE your talent

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Innovative thinker and solutions oriented with an eye on the future who has development new ways to hire for skills, knowledge and behaviours
  • Previous international/multi-country navigating different regulations, culture and business best practices
  • Extensive expertise in a senior talent acquisition role, preferably within Insurance or Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience working with SMEs, Senior leadership to develop talent acquisition strategies to drive business performance
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Have experience of leveraging the UK apprentice levy to hire and develop apprentices
  • Fluent (written and spoken) English language skills are required
  • Experience of hiring from underrepresented groups including return to work, military etc.
  • Developed a diverse talent attraction strategy for a large global organization
