Global Supply Chain Project Manager

We are searching for an experienced Global Supply Chain Project Manager at our Grand Rapids facility.

Position Summary

The Global Supply Chain Project Manager role is responsible for overall project administration within the function as well as several key documentation and reporting initiatives within the function. This individual will create documentation and processes for others to use and should be comfortable in ambiguous situations that require some level of independent decision making. The Project Manager will need to balance competing priorities in support of overall business goals . Note: T his is a hybrid role and individual should plan to be on-site 2-3 days a week.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Incorporate new projects and ensure correct PM is assigned .
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to d ocument annual cost roll forward process and execution against the project plan.
• S erves as project consultant for Commodity Managers , which includes general support and/or overall feedback o n project direction.
• Maintain , update, and execute project management framework processes, and associated documentation, plus ensure Commodity Team is trained on execution of basic project management techniques and processes for assigned projects.
• Think globally – Project Manager must understand the global nature of Oliver’s business and make decisions through a global lens and wi th feedback from key stakeholders , incl uding those based at each site.
• Project Manager will create & maintain a framework to identify which projects are managed by the Project Manager and those managed by the Commodity Team.
• L ead and manage assigned projects and execution of critical tasks by internal and external stakeholders.
• Project Manager will facilitate & lead regular working session with appropriate regional stakeholders to review procurement- and supplier-related activities, both within and outside of each region.
• Responsible for evolving Excel-based price escalation tool and monthly maintenance of the tool to properly project expected price movements for all contracted suppliers.
• E stablish and lead project review meeting cadence , updating Procurement team o n project status , deadlines, and roadblock s ; ensuring prioritization aligns with department resources.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Establish and facilitate regular working session with Procurement, Technical and Product Management key stakeholders to discuss key projects and future priorities.

Basic Qualifications

Education

• B achelor’s Degree in S upply C hain M anagement , Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years Supply Chain and/or Project Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications :

• PMP Certification and/or willingness to get within twelve-months of employment.
