Job Details

Our engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a permanent employee, you will be responsible for managing our supply chain operations and ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly. You will be working closely with our procurement team to negotiate with vendors, implement cost-saving measures, and optimize our inventory management system. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in supply chain management, manufacturing, and procurement, as well as experience working with ERP and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize our inventory management system to ensure sufficient stock levels at all times
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Oversee the procurement process, including selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure timely and efficient production schedules
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with our business goals and objectives
• Implement cost-saving measures to reduce expenses and increase profitability
• Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms

Qualifications

• Experience in the engineering industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving measures and improving supply chain performance
