Job Description
Our client, a very well known and established manufacturer based in the Philadelphia PA area, is growing. Before I get into the job, I can tell you that they are located in a wonderful area famed for its high quality of life and low cost of living.


The company offers exceptional compensation, benefits, 401K, vacation, relocation etc... and a hybrid schedule allow you to work from home 2 days each week.


Due to the growth of the business, they have an immediate need to attract a Director of Global Supply Chain who will lead their efforts globally.


Specific focus will be on plastics, steel forgings, and electronic assemblies.


Requirements


  • Automotive industry experience (OEM or aftermarket) highly desired, but if the parts sourced seem similar in construction (machined metal parts, plastic parts, electronics, small appliances, etc.), that's just fine.
  • Ability to relocate to the Philadelphia area, and to work without the need for immigration sponsorship assistance
  • Hands on experience sourcing from best-cost regions such as Thailand, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc
  • Ability to travel 1/4 to 1/2 the time.
  • Experience managing strategic sourcing processes
