- Supervisory (can lead a team of 4-5)
- Experience in a highly regulated industry
- BS Degree in supply chain or related
- 5+ years of supply chain/operations experience

Supply Chain Manager, North America
Summary
The Supply Chain Manager, North America has responsibility for US supply chain operations including country oversight of planning, external manufacturing, purchasing, materials management (shipping, receiving, inventory control, logistics) and customer service with the function to improve the core processes that result in improved product availability, service levels, reduced inventory turns, and lower cost. The role will ensure that performance metrics are met by focusing on demand planning, supply planning, and distribution requirements planning. This includes leading processes and technology to link Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and Supply Chain forecasts that will translate into capacity and inventory strategies to increase customer service levels.
The Supply Chain Manager, North America reports to the Global Supply Chain Manager and will need to be at least partially office-based in our Huntingdon Valley, PA US headquarters location (hybrid-schedule).
Essential Functions
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Manage the demand planning, supply planning and distribution requirements planning processes to ensure all service level and financial metrics are achieved.
- Create inventory management best practices, warehouse management and replenishment methods.
- Direct budgeting, vendor selection and quality assurance efforts
- Manage production scheduling and capacity planning.
- Lead initiative to ensure continuity of supply throughout the operations to prevent work stoppages.
- Manage and execute the sales inventory and operations plan processes and facilitate periodic reviews to ensure adherence to key business metrics.
- Communicate, influence and interact cross-functionally with sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, and global supply chain to develop and execute plans to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Coach and mentor the supply chain team to improve engagement with operations and commercial teams and to establish better communication channels between the cross-functional teams.
- Resolve internal or external “conflict situations” effectively.
- Key player in any business’ changes to ERP system, SAP.
- Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates personal flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments that have a positive impact.
- Organizes and prioritizes work assignment to complete assignments/tasks on time with quality.
- Analyze data, reports and KPIs to ascertain trends in performance, resulting in maximum effective and efficient use of logistical resources
- Conduct and renew transportation/warehousing network optimization initiatives consolidating the domestic and international shipments
- Negotiate contracts with critical vendors in order to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency
- Write and present employee performance reviews and appraisals, including disciplinary actions as well as fostering performance improvement through positive reinforcement.
- Lifecycle manage products and materials achieving margin goals throughout the life of the product.
- Assist Global Supply Chain Manager in defining resource needs with Human Resources and works within budget and staffing parameters to accomplish objectives for area of responsibility.
Supervisory Responsibility
The position has 5 direct reports in the following functional disciplines: Procurement, Logistics, Planning, Shipping/Receiving/Inventory, and Customer Service.
