What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Global Logistics Manager to support Tesla Energy’s growing fleet of heavy assets, CDL drivers and logistics professionals. You will work cross-functionally with all teams across the organization to develop and continuously improve the strategy for deliveries of Tesla Energy Materials globally.
What You’ll Do

• Develop, design, and integrate software solutions to support teams’ core functions
• Build a strong project pipeline to drive safety, cost, and productivity at all levels of the organization.
• Work closely with DOT Compliance teams to ensure Tesla CDL drivers meet requirements
• Manage short term and long-term capacity planning of Tesla assets and resources to drive overall logistics optimizations.
• Design global logistics strategy and supporting carrier network to optimize delivery of all Tesla Energy products.
• Manage day to day escalations root cause and corrective actions with the teams
• Develop and manage team KPIs to drive the improvements of the Energy global logistics program
• Be knowledgeable of regulatory and legal aspects as it relates to global distribution and logistics
• Onboard carriers with required service levels to meet globally delivery requirements, manage active carrier network to KPIs
• Ability to assess and clearly articulate financial and operational impacts on the logistics operations of proposed business initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Exceptional project and system management skills.
• 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of warehousing, logistics and supply chain best practices.
• Demonstrated people leader who is passionate about developing others
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels.

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
