Job Description
    Spotify Advertising Business Marketing team mission is to inspire advertisers and marketers to connect with billions of fans. The Director of Spotify Advertising Business Marketing, Global will lead all our marketing strategy and efforts aimed at deepening engagement with advertisers & agencies globally. We are looking for a seasoned brand marketer who is passionate about creativity, an excellent collaborator and effective operator. We are a fast-paced company that requires leaders to be able to anticipate, react and activate teams quickly to keep pace with the market. This position reports to the Head of Ad Business Marketing.

    What you'll do

    • Develop fresh B2B approaches that are rooted in insights, creativity and desire to breakthrough
    • Managercmultiple stakeholders and help streamline internal processes to enable teams to do the best work of their careers
    • Be obsessed with the Spotify Advertising platform; our data, ad products, podcasts, measurement and enabling success for our customers
    • Lead a dedicated and diverse team focused on growing demand for Spotify Advertising through core narratives, campaigns, tentpoles (e.g. CES, Cannes, Ad Week), customer advocacy, Soundboard Council and Community
    • Mentor and coach direct team to develop and deliver creative and effective marketing ideas; create a high performance, growth-minded team culture
    • Build our B2B brand leadership within the industry.
    • Anticipate coming changes in the advertising market and is a forward thinker in how we can lead the market
    • Become a trusted leader within Spotify’s advertising business, partnering effectively with Ad Product Marketing, Sales leadership, Comms and other XFN teams
    • Drive our business marketing brand strategy for Spotify Advertising, podcasts, SMB, and industry marketing
    • Increase brand momentum & equity with brands, businesses big and small,and publishers
    • Build Spotify Advertising brand and support global programs at scale, developing strategy and ensuring greater brand consistency in our execution across our product GTM and channels.
    • Partner with Consumer, Comms and experiential teams so we show up as one brand in the world across

    Who you are

    • A great storyteller, strong strategic thinker, and visible team leader
    • An effective communicator, collaborator and operator who can rally XFN teams to deliver
    • Experience in global marketing, managing a global brand and understanding regional business context
    • Ability to present confidently and positively influence senior executives within the company and with clients
    • Demonstrates ability to deliver clear, fresh effective narratives and marketing ideas that will resonate and influence marketers, advertisers, small businesses
    • Track record of partnering closely and effectively with an ambitious Sales team
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills - experience successfully building brands and activating innovative marketing ideas. Understanding of the media landscape
    • 17+ years of experience in marketing; agency, brand, or business marketing experience a plus
    • BA or BS degree

    The United States base range for this position is $189,038- $270,054, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
