Global Controller Jobs

Location Remote - Some travel to Corporate Headquarters and International travel required

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for Global Controller. Ideal candidates will have an active CPA, 10+ years of experience leading an accounting team including international team members, and have a "big-picture" business sense.

• Manage external tax and auditor advisory relationships globally
• Act as a subject matter expert for revenue recognition
• Establish and review accounting practices and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Willing to travel to the corporate headquarters or internationally as required
• Responsible for global transfer price strategy and compliance
• Promote and establish a global monthly close calendar
• Promote and drive automation efficiencies across all accounting processes
• Mentor and lead country controllers to ensure consistency in processes and data integrity and fraud prevention
• Oversee all corporate accounting, payroll, and international accounting teams
• Effectively communicate complex technical knowledge with a team of global managers, specifically Europe and East Asia
• Ensure all global books and records are completed in a timely manner with high accuracy
• Participate in strategic and tactical project initiatives

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Active CPA
• MBA or MS in Finance preferred
• Must have an unexpired passport for international travel

Experience Required

• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Experience with a complex global ERP system
• Experience driving transformation and efficiency in controls and accounting systems
• 10 + years of of experience leading an accounting team
• Conceptual thinking
• Experience working with a global entity - specifically Europe or East Asia

Experience Preferred

• Experience in a public accounting firm conducting audits
• Experience working with a subscription-based or membership-based business
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience working with international tax regulations
