Assistant Controller Jobs

Well established manufacturing company, with recent new investment is poised for exponential growth. Company seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to join their team. Lead the way for their anticipated 500% growth over 5 years.

The Assistant Controller is responsible for performing general, cost and financial accounting functions. This includes developing and executing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial closings, internal management reporting, and supporting analysis. The position will partner with the Plant Leadership and Operations teams to ensure the plans, actions and results are aligned with strategy and expectations.

Duties

General Accounting

• Performs financial, general and cost accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and the Company’s policies. Executes and supervises the monthly financial closing program within prescribed timelines.

• Assist in the calculation of revenue for large projects using percentage of completion.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on all financial and cost modules within the ERP system

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting.

• Develops, analyzes, and reconciles statistical and accounting information for monthly and quarterly financial and balance sheet reviews.

Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis projects as needed.
