Geospatial Analyst, Mid Jobs

Key Role:
Design and develop geospatial solutions to solve problems and create products in areas such as national security, natural resource management, health or urban planning. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED
• TS/SCI clearance
• Experience with performing feature extraction and digitization of features and population of their attributes
• Knowledge of geospatial database content management
• 3+ years of experience with GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS and Google Earth
• Knowledge of basic coordinate systems and projection

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cartographic finishing techniques
• Experience with creating shapefiles, geodatabases, and features
• GPC-F Certification
• Knowledge of cartographic symbolization rules

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
