The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and running the day-to-day operations for the location. The General Manager primary function is to monitor revenue and costs through effective P&L management. Other essential duties include building and maintaining customer satisfaction through problem solving, communication and relationship building. This position has supervisory responsibilities for onsite employees, support personnel and customers.
Responsibilities
·Enforcement and deployment of SOP’s as well as tracking monthly, quarterly and yearly KPI’s.
·Serves as the main point of contact with their assigned customers and vendors in order to provide exceptional service.
·Strategic account management to include direct sales of new customers in market.
·Responsible for the selection, hiring, training & development of all employees at the account.
·Conducts P&L reviews, with direct decision-making abilities for most efficient and profitable operation.
·Ensures customer billing and employee payroll are accurate and timely.
Qualifications & Skills:
·Passion for customer service, excellent communication and high attention to detail.
·Motivation to be a part of a rapidly growing company and be promoted to a larger role.
·Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Suite, Teams, Outlook, etc.
·Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
·Prior P&L responsibly and account management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 4 years transportation related experience and/or training, Or seven years transportation experience, Or a combination of education and experience.
·Military Veteran, law enforcement or security management.
·Prior knowledge of transportation supply chain management.
·Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to relocate for future opportunities within the company.
