Exciting opportunity for a Pharmaceutical executive to lead the America's business of this global natural healthcare company.


With a strong reputation for product quality and service this global manufacturer of Natural Health Supplementswith Contract Manufacturingcapabilitiesis looking for a results-orientated driven leader to head up its America’s operation.


As GM America’s and a member of theglobal Senior Executive Teamyou will be responsible for the developmentand delivery of Group business targets and execution of agreed corporate strategy throughout the Americas region,driving both growth and expansion of their own products within the region as well as increasing business opportunities with their Contract Manufacturing operation.


Operating a purpose-built facility in Reno Nevada and reporting to the Global CEO your duties will include the following:


  • Improve commercial plans for profitable capacity utilization across operations and supply chain.
  • Champion a collaborative and results-oriented culture focused on development, retention and continuous improvement of employees, systems and processes
  • In conjunction with Head of Quality, manage quality related aspects for all production activities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and that quality and compliance standards are based on GMP and GLP are maintained and improved.
  • Drive the America’s strategy of the business.
  • Providing effective governance and compliance of projects and programs of work within the line of business and in a collaborative manner ensuring all commercial, technical, and other business obligations and objectives are met.
  • Lead a high impact commercial team with strong sales and marketing talent across all lines of business.
  • Manage the supply and demand within the region.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Operations direct and oversee service readiness and customer service and manufacturing standards are always upheld
  • Communicate and align regional marketing and sales objectives with Global Strategy objectives.
  • Ensure consistent growth of revenue through the development of existing and new business relationships through the region.
  • Translating strategy into a clear set of strategic priorities and plans for the region - clear goals and metrics and drive results focus and a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop new business relationships in the region
  • Deliver pricing strategies that are market relevant.
  • Develop and enhance a culture of accountability within the region,


To be successful in this role you require for following skills and attributes

  • Proven success in business development, client management and ability to develop and lead high performing teams
  • Commercial business degree. Ideally MBA qualified with a life science background
  • Extensive experience in working within the complementary medicine, dietary supplements, nutraceutical or consumer healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Results oriented and proven ability to drive sustained business growth through successful delivery to high standards.
