Title: Front Office Administrator - Contract Role


Location: Rock Hill, SC


Job Type: Full-time


Initial Job Term: 5 Month Contract, with possibility of extension


Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm (1 hour lunch break); may need additional availability on occasion for special projects, etc.


Salary: Commensurate with Experience


Classification: Non-Exempt

About The Position


The Front Desk Office Administrator helps keep the Office and Operations teams running smoothly. This support role will focus on work that improves the shared office environment, conducting check-ins with the team, ordering of non-inventory materials for the Operations team, planning events, managing appointments, and supervising visitors for scheduled appointments. Additionally, this role will be providing administrative support to the VP of Operations as well as the Human Capital and Culture Team.


What's Expected (including But Not Limited To)
  • Human Capital & Culture support duties include:
  • Partners with HC&C and Corporate Office Administration to coordinate travel plans
  • Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for Office Supplies
  • Responsible for ordering all non-inventory supplies for multiple departments
  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail; handles USPS outbound mailings
  • Support HC&C by assisting with special projects/assignments as requested
  • Partner with HC&C to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Manage Scheduling of Training and Conference Rooms Calendar
  • Assist with IT needs
  • Manages reception area and Visitor’s Log to ensure effective traffic flow of visitors
  • Organize and update the database of suppliers for the office
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support (Scanning, copying, email, filing, etc.)
  • Partner with HC&C in sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews for the Ops team
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Request quotes and compare prices


Minimum Requirements


  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
  • Must have personal vehicle and valid driver’s license to run errands
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Exceptional communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Education/Experience/License Requirements


  • Reception and clerical experience (answering phones, booking appointments, filing, faxing, scanning, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; building and managing large data sets - Vlookup, pivot tables, etc
  • 1+ years’ in office administration/office management in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience is highly preferred
