Exciting opportunity to work in a wellness and rehab clinic located in Rahway, NJ. We are seeking a friendly and professional front desk receptionist or administrative assistant to be able to grow with our practice.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Duties

  • Social Media Coordinator:this includes following a marketing calendar provided by our marketing team and posting and updating our instagram, facebook, youtube, and Tik Tok pages. You will also be responsible for answering any DM's or other messages from patients or potential patients on these platforms.
  • Patient Coordinator:this includes but is not limited to the following; Patient appreciation events, scheduling patient appointments, understanding and relaying patient care plans, understanding and relaying patient insurance information.
  • Front Desk responsibilities:this includes friendly interaction between patients, getting patients scheduled for follow up appointments, messaging and calling patients, and other miscellaneous tasks. Other duties include sending and receiving information from our billing department and relaying this information to our doctors, entering patient information into our software system, ordering supplies, and light office cleaning duties.
  • The right team member:The right team member must be able to think creatively and be able to problem solve, work efficiently and have strong organizational skills. They will have an understanding of social media and enjoy and look forward to doing posts on our platforms. They will be fully engaged in the unique environment of healthcare and enjoy interacting with both patients and clinicians.

Hours:

Monday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Tuesday: 1230 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Wednesday: 9a.m. - 7p.m.

Thursday: 1230p.m. - 7p.m.

Saturday: 9a.m. - 1p.m.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices
  • Professional communication and presentation skills, including face to face, email, telephone, and video conference.
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize client satisfaction and facility efficiency
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clinicians, marketing staff, administrative staff, medical billing staff, contractors, governmental agencies, insurance payers, patients, family members of patients, suppliers, and the general public, of all age levels from child to senior citizen.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Multitasking skills
  • Experience in a chiropractic or similar medical office setting with responsibilities including medical billing and knowledge of HIPPAA and labor laws is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Maintain total confidentiality of personal and financial data
  • Create and update patients’ electronic health records
