Job Description

FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Administrator will assist and grant access to all new and current guests, volunteers, staff and visitors in a compassionate, kind, and patient demeanor. The front desk is the main access point where all information is given and/or processed for all departments of the mission. It is a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and computer skills are utilized daily.


FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR CORE WORK PRINCIPLE:

FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Encourage guests in their faith and growth in Jesus Christ.
  • Attend scheduled department/team meetings, as requested.
  • Commitment to (HARVEST HEALTH LIMITED mission, vision, and core values.
  • Conduct tasks and projects assigned by the Program Manager. (Depending on location, tasks may include mail sorting and delivery; transporting clients in a company vehicle; serving meals to residents; serving as program representative to volunteers; and chaperoning children.
  • Follow established protocols for medical emergencies and unusual/disruptive activity.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and intervene to diffuse any potential volatile and/or hostile situations, as needed.
  • Assist with intake, discharge, and/or orientation processes, as requested.
  • Actively monitor guests, ensure compliance with all program guidelines and expectations.
  • Provide written documentation, as required (may include reports, presentations, and data analysis).


FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS:In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to allow differently abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job. Manual dexterity required for reaching, lifting objects, and operating office equipment. Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs. and ability to operate office equipment.


FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR WORK ENVIRONMENT:

In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to allow differently abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job within the environment. The office is clean, orderly, properly lit, and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate.


Requirements:


FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURES:

  • Current California Driver License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year prior experience in a related field performing similar duties (social services, community relations, non-profits, etc.)
  • Commercial license, a plus


FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to learn proprietary computer programs.
  • Ability to conduct responsibilities without direct supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to be added to the company vehicle insurance policy, required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
