Food Service Supervisor - Patient Service

Other Duties Include

The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas.

• Order menu items to meet demand
• Supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas.
• Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records
• Assist in providing food service as needed
• Attend supervisory meetings and conducts staff meeting
• Complete assigned forecasting
• Enforce departmental work guidelines and policies/procedures

Schedule: 9am-5:30pm. Work Week 1 Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday. Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Saturday.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• High School graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience;
• Or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
