Food Scientist Jobs

One of our top clients is recruiting again! They are looking for a Food Scientist for their facility. Interested job seekers should have work experience with a highly successful and well-established baked goods manufacturer. An overview of the Food Scientist’s responsibilities:

1) Support R&D with custom formulations, reformulations, product innovations and cuttings

2) Document working specifications for new product developments

3) Support the development of multiple prototypes that deliver on the written concept

4) Maintain a daily schedule for the R&D laboratory to meet tight timelines

5) Maintain product pars and inventory levels of R&D ingredients

6) Assist the R&D Manager with projects as needed

7) Work cross-functionally with other departments for the commercialization of products

8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the baked goods industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in research and development
