  • Reviewing shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications
  • Occasionally visiting job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
  • Answering questions from clients and architects
  • Performing calculations and designing basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff
  • Researching and reviewing new products, industry trends and evolving codes and standards
  • Preparing system layouts, detailed drawings and schematics
  • Preparing or modifying reports, plans, and designs for projects

We'd love for you to apply for this position if you...

  • Are a capable and driven engineer with a passion for various project types
  • Have knowledge of building and fire codes
  • Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards
  • Proficiency in Revit is required
  • Knowledge of HydraCalc or other fire modeling/design software is strongly preferred
  • Possess successful verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadline while maintaining quality design
  • Have at least 1+ years of of related Fire Protection experience, or 3 years of experience without a degree
  • The passion to pursue your PE license or NICET certifications is a huge plus!
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (ie: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural)
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $60,000-$75,000
