Job Description

Founded in 1987, TBG is a leading design firm with expertise in landscape architecture and urban planning. We office in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio – with a portfolio spanning the United States and beyond.

We have an immediate opening in our Austin office for an entry level designer with urban design and planning experience and are offering a signing bonus for professionals with 3 or more years of experience.

Requirements
  • Think critically, communicate effectively and produce high quality work
  • Collaborate with diverse groups of people on various teams
  • Fearlessly pursue solutions to complex design problems
  • Work with others to advance firm goals and priorities
  • Contribute to creative efforts on projects and in the office

Qualifications
  • Strong graphic skills including GIS, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and AutoCAD
  • Experience facilitating work sessions with groups of all sizes
  • Experience preparing presentation materials, plans, reports, research and analyses
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people and on various teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in landscape architecture, community planning, urban design or architecture
  • Solid communication skills across multiple platforms
  • Self motivated with strong time management skills
  • Comfort with speaking at public meetings and to small groups
