Job Description
Role: Finishing Technician I
Location: Cincinnati, OH - 45227
Duration: 06 Months on W-2
1st shift - M-F 6a - 2:30pm
$18/hour pay rate
Summary Description
Performs deburr, finishing, and cleaning in a job shop or high volume applications. Processes components to meet print and or geometric tolerance requirements. Responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of production equipment needed for deburr, finishing, and cleaning operations, maintenance of proper documentation, and support of the manufacturing engineering function.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
% WEIGHTING OF RESPONSIBILITY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Rework and modify production parts as directed.
  • Conduct in-process checks using measuring devices and report defects to the supervisor.
  • Verify finished work pieces' conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.
  • Under close supervision.
  • Complete assigned tasks following SOPs, prints, and work instructions
  • Perform packaging and other required duties.
  • Train other employees.
  • Adhere to dimensions and tolerances on prints, utilizing sketches when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area, and follow safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team on projects, exchanging ideas and contributing skills.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements with management and engineering support as needed.
  • Operate production equipment for deburr, finishing, and cleaning tasks.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
