1-3 years finishing experience in printing environment, preferred

Experience with electrical wiring and LED lighting is a plus

Collaborate with the Senior Packaging Specialist on any photography and photography requirements for packages.

A minimum of 1-3 years design related experience.

Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.

Prior retail packaging design experience preferred.

Compile and release any visual tools/artwork requested by both internal and external clients.

Responsible for adhering to all category deadlines, both internal and external.

Create and maintain Benefit’s packaging material restriction list; alert packaging engineers if a package under development does not meet restrictions

1- 3 years of Experience in Packaging Development

Knowledge of cosmetic packaging materials & development

Knowledge of package safety tests

Maintain packaging material database and perform country specific import quantity calculations as needed for global reporting.

Complete country specific packaging material reporting to authorities as required to ensure company compliance to applicable packaging regulatory/environmental legislations globally.

Possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance.

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well as within a team.

Min. 5 yr in Packaging, Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing experience in a GxP environment. Hazardous shipping training a plus.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Experience with sandblasting, buffer wheels, lathes, and hand tools should be cultivated to perform the job well.

Deburring and softening edges to safety from fabrication processes

Cleaning material buildup from brazing brass

Cleaning brass surfaces and preparing the material to receive finishes

Quality checking against control samples and drawings

Become familiar with Allied Maker 100+ designs and 500+ metal parts.

Recommend and implement process improvements with management and engineering support as needed.

Collaborate with the team on projects, exchanging ideas and contributing skills.

Complete assigned tasks following SOPs, prints, and work instructions

Operate production equipment for deburr, finishing, and cleaning tasks.

Perform packaging and other required duties.

Conduct in-process checks using measuring devices and report defects to the supervisor.

Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.

Ability to work with and influence peers and management.

2+ years of previous finishing experience preferred

Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).

Interprets drawings or assembly instructions provided to assemble parts or assemblies into units.

Positions and aligns parts for assembly.
