Job Description
The Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases as well as cleaning, maintaining and stocking of the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases. Anesthesia Technicians are also responsible for expediting turnover between cases.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire. Must have one year previous healthcare experience in a clinical setting. Critical care/anesthesia experience preferred. Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred. All candidates must pass an Anesthesia Technician exam with a score of 75% or higher (test will be administered by Human Resources).
Location: Crouse Hospital · Anesthesia - 420
Schedule: Full-Time, Day/Evenings, 11am-7:30pm, w/ rotating of weekends, holidays & on-call
