Job Description

Field Recruiter

  • The Recruiter is responsible for researching, identifying, engaging, and qualifying talent leads.
  • This on-site or remote-based position will support the in-house execution of external searches for management positions in all of our store brands as well as select District and Regional positions.
  • As a member of our Field recruiting team you will be responsible for the full life cycle recruitment of talent for management positions in our stores across the country.
  • They will create targeted sourcing strategies and plans to support specific searches as well as pipeline searches for positions in TJX locations across the country.
  • The Recruiter position is part of our Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise based in our Framingham, MA headquarters.
  • She/he will utilize in-house tools (ATS), networks, social media, research methods, cold-calling, and talent mapping to source passive candidates.

Through competitive intelligence gathering, will maintain on-going knowledge of retail and business function landscape.

  • The Recruiter will engage directly with Hiring Teams, Talent Acquisition Leadership, Human Resources Business Partners and other key internal business stakeholders as a trusted advisor.


Responsibilities:

  • Build robust talent pipelines
  • Influence, consult, collaborate and be a thought leader to Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners and Talent Acquisition leaders and peers
  • Source, engage and assess talent
  • Deliver best in class hiring experience to all stakeholders including candidates, Hiring Managers and other business partners
  • Communicate plans and activities proactively
  • Anticipate challenges and obstacles
  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for assigned buildings/geographic areas
  • Develop actionable strategies and staffing plans to support hiring needs, leverage internal and external resources to meet plans


Requirements:

  • Sourcing experience to include internet, research and cold calling
  • 1-3 years of full Recruitment Lifecycle or Sourcing experience
  • Talent assessment and influencing skills
  • Developed business acumen and intellectual curiosity
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple searches/projects while remaining flexible to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Proven experience and comfort in communicating with all levels of leadership
