JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective Seeking a passionate and talented individual looking to accelerate their career by assisting USOP with operational analytics and reporting. As our fast paced management services organization (MSO) in the Orthopedic space continues to grow so will the field finance organization. The position will report directly to the Director, FP&A and indirectly report to USOP’s Chief Operating Officer. The Field Finance Manager can expect significant executive level exposure.
Essential Functions

- Identify opportunities for to maximize revenue and minimize expense throughout USOP’s orthopedic practices.
- Develop proformas for organic growth initiatives which may include new service lines, provider recruiting and acquisitions.
- Create financial and operational metric dashboards to assist field leaders with managing their businesses.
- Provide financial and analytical assistance with budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist the COO and Regional VP’s with ad hoc analysis and recurring operational reporting
- Assist with staffing productivity, marketing effectiveness, and IT spend analytics
- Exporting and aggregating data from multiple systems to help analyze trends.
- Identify opportunities for automation of existing processes.
- Assist in preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and budgets for each practice; ensure accuracy and completion on a timely basis
- Analyze and report revenue cycle management (RCM) KPIs as well as creating and updating RCM dashboards.
- Partner and support other internal departments, field customers, patients, and executives with ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly physician compensation calculation.
- Run with ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility
Initially, this position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, as the organization grows, so will the field finance organization
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position located in Alpharetta, GA (greater Atlanta area). However, a partially remote work schedule may be considered for the right candidate. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Travel
Moderate travel is expected for this position (~25%).
Requirements
- Graduated from Accredited College or University with BA, BS or higher degree(s)
- 3-5 years of finance experience required
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Statement of Cash Flows required
- Healthcare RCM experience a plus
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, SmartSheet, PowerPivot, VBA Macros, Great Plains (GP), and other technical systems a plus
- M&A and investment banking experience a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft basic Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
