Job Description

The Executive Vice President Information Systems is an IT generalist leader, with a background in credit union, banking or financial services, and a strategic mindset for both developing and executing the organization’s technology goals.

Examples of accountabilities include:


Development Functions

  • Oversight of information systems projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure data security compliance, risk management, and system security policies.
  • Research and recommend strategies for leveraging emerging technologies and maximizing efficiency.


Information Systems Operations Functions

  • Ensure optimal operation of information systems, including backups, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and maintain information systems infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.


Administrative Functions

  • Facilitate training and cross-training initiatives for Information Systems staff.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations governing information systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and regulatory agencies regarding information system matters.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in computer science, business or related fields
  • 10+ years IT/relevant experience
  • Credit union, banking or financial services experience
