Executive Director Jobs

The Executive Director is responsible for being on-site to ensure the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day-to-day functions of the community in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

The Executive Director/Administrator is also responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy; achieving and maintaining budgetary compliance; representing the community to the community at large and the Company; and, creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for the residents.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with and responsible for the community’s compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as all laws, regulations, and legal requirements governing the operation of the community.
• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the overall management and control of the activities and programs of the community, its residents, and financial assets.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise staff in accordance with company policy.
• Personally interact with and observe residents, family members, associates, and vendors to assess operations, evaluate associate performance, motivate staff, problem solve, and provide leadership and direction for the community.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new applications
• Proven ability to solve Regulatory issues
• Must have experience in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
• Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses.
• Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
• Passion for working with Seniors
• Previous sales or business development experience preferred--identifying and building local relationships to drive business as well as effective product pricing and revenue maximization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
• Bachelor's degree and license to work in Florida
• Prior General Manager, Executive Director, or Administrator experience within health care is essential
