Job Description
The Disney Entertainment Marketing team is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Freeform & Onyx Collective marketing executives. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative support for the SVP, Marketing and the Executive Director, Marketing Strategy. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, efficient, and capable of achieving amazing results in a very fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Responsibilities


  • Coordinate meetings with 50+ attendees, including preparing agendas, securing and planning space, facilitating content development, and following up as appropriate.
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare itineraries.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports.
  • Update and monitor changes to marketing calendars.
  • Handle complex scheduling responsibilities, with exceptional attention to the details of calendar management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discreetly handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Attend meetings, take meticulous notes and track action items.
  • Manage department distribution list, contact sheets, project assignments.
  • Provide additional office support such as organizing documents, ordering supplies, processing purchase orders, and assisting with onboarding of department new hires.
  • Serve as a liaison between various departments.


Qualifications


  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail and Google Docs/Spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to details while handling multiple simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
  • 2+ years administrative experience in entertainment.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude; nothing is too large or too small and can be handled effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain calm through chaos.
  • Ability to problem solve with a relentless pursuit of better ways.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Capacity to engage professionally with associates and managers at every level.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with entertainment industry professionals both in front of and behind the camera.
  • Knowledge of current and past trends in SVOD, cable, and broadcast television.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Historical knowledge of, and passion for, media, film and television.


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $57,810.00 to $77,550.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
