Job Description

HR Executive Assistant


ESCO Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ESE), an innovative, global provider of highly engineered products and solutions across aerospace and defense, shielding and testing, and utility solutions markets, is seeking an experienced, seasoned, executive-level Human Resources Assistant to provide world-class administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the HR organization. Based at global headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, the successful candidate for this role must be highly flexible, meticulously detail-orientated, an agile learner, and a natural self-starter. Outstanding time management, prioritization, and organization skills are vital. Adherence to the absolute highest standards of professional conduct, personal integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive information is essential.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become and serve as a super-user of current and future HR reporting capabilities
  • Provide timely, tactical management of the HR organization budget
  • Administer carrier portal and billing administration for health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, LTD, COBRA, etc.)
  • Organize and coordinate logistics for a wide array of key meetings including the annual HR Conference
  • Assist the entire HR department with ad-hoc projects as they arise
  • Create, organize, and maintain folder/file structures in various HR Microsoft Teams sites
  • Provide general department office management including replenishing organizational supplies, maintaining electronic files and databases, digitizing hard-copy documents, organizing special events, and timely updating electronic contact lists and directories among other tasks
  • Participate in and/or lead other special projects as assigned
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the CHRO including managing Outlook calendars, scheduling meetings and associated logistics, arranging domestic and international travel, and managing and paying HR-related invoices
  • Administer and monitor through electronic means company programs including financial planning, employee referral program, service awards, headcount reporting, executive physical programs, etc.
  • Utilize and fully leverage the complete suite of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) for daily tasks, correspondences, meeting minutes as assigned, and projects in a highly organized manner to maximize individual, team, and HR function-wide productivity


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years’ experience working as an administrative assistant in a professional setting
  • General understanding of basic human resources terminology and functions
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to calmly work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent, resourceful team player with a positive attitude and drive for results
  • Extremely well-organized, self-motivated, and able to perform a wide variety of work efficiently with very minimal supervision
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) and related systems
  • Unwavering and precise attention to detail
  • Experience working with HR systems and highly confidential and sensitive people information
  • Willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty and to work in areas outside of primary duties as opportunities/needs arise
  • An uncompromising, proactive approach to work consistently operating with initiative and foresight
  • Strong technical skills that support an environment of simplification, modernization, and automation
  • Flexible and agile when faced with unexpected or changing circumstances and priorities
