Barber & Associates, LLC and Ask A Fundraiser seek an experienced and responsible Executive Assistant that has the ability and tenacity to support a Black, woman-owned business grow and flourish.The Executive Assistant would support both companies, both of which are focused on fundraising and philanthropy, one from a consulting perspective, and one from a technology perspective.
General Duties & Responsibilities
·Project manage daily Barber & Associates and Ask A Fundraiser operations, client engagements, and consultant relationships.
·Project manage technology development projects and solutions for Ask A Fundraiser (TBD).
·Maintain the B&A Policies and Procedures manual and create new policies and procedures where needed.
·Manage office operations and administration – Answer B&A’s general line, field general email inquiries, maintain the functionality of office software and technology.
·Coordinate meetings and conference calls, often using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
·Maintain calendar of meetings, key deliverables, and deadlines (e.g., proposals, reports, action items, etc.)
·Maintain the B&A CRM (Little Green Light) with contacts, contact reports, and other information as needed.
·Manage and oversee the client/prospective client listserv and holiday mailing.
Skills & Requirements
·Knowledge of project management software, scheduling tool
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
·Exceptional interpersonal skills
·Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
·Strong writer that can copy edit case statements and other materials
·Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
·Proficient with a project management software (Microsoft Project – preferred ClickUp or Asana)
· Fundraising and development experience a plus.
Hours: 10 – 15 hours per week; Open to discussing full-time roles for the right candidate.
